Everyone likes to have their egos stroked and there’s nothing wrong with that!
I’m not going to tell you to pump them with compliments 24/7, but you can definitely help them feel their worth.
As black women, we are known for being strong, but this strength is not a competition between that of a partner.
Part of that strength is allowing others to thrive in their own.
Whether it’s a simple compliment or validity that they’re doing something right, black men love to be loved.
Black Men ARE NOT Trash
While many of them might not realize it, no one is rooting for the black male as much as black women.
And this brings me to my final point.
Black men are not trash.
Let me say it one more time for the people in the back.
BLACK MEN ARE NOT TRASH. Society might try to treat them this way, but I know better.
We know better.
When we’ve had a few bad relationships, everyone’s ready to “throw the whole population away.”
Not me!
There are black men who continuously ride for the black women and they deserve the same.
So I’ll act accordingly.

Everyone is so busy trying to maintain an image or keep themselves from getting hurt that it’s so easy to fall into a bad relationship.

There are some who aren’t worth it, but most are.
