8. Denzel Washington and Pauletta Washington
Denzel is probably one of the most well-known African-American actors working today; he’s starred in films like Remember the Titans, Training Day and American Gangster. He’s also an accomplished stage actor, and a devoted husband. He met Pauletta, his wife, on the set of his first movie in 1977, and they married in 1983. With 4 children, Denzel is obviously a family man and very dedicated to his marriage – cheers to that!
7. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz
Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys married hip hop artist Swizz Beatz back in 2010 in a private ceremony officiated by Deepak Chopra in beautiful Cannes, France. The couple has two sons together, and are involved with a lot of non-profit organizations that do charitable work all over the world as well as continuing to produce music. Alicia Keys was also just announced as a new judge on the popular reality singing competition show The Voice.
6. Celebrity Couple Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga
The Dream Girls star and her former WWE champion wrestler beau David Otunga aren’t technically married – but they have been engaged for over eight years, which at this point is roughly the same thing, don’t you think? The couple met only seven months before they got engaged, so clearly they knew they were meant to be, and together they have a son who was born in 2009.
5. Steve Harvey and Marjorie Harvey
Steve Harvey, well-known host of Family Feud, married his third wife Marjorie in 2007. The couple originally met when Marjorie walked into a comedy club Steve was doing a set in, and he proclaimed he was going to marry her – but things didn’t work out until years later when they reconnected in 2005. He says Marjorie is responsible for making him a much better man, and it seems to be true as this is his longest marriage to date. All together Steve has 7 children, 3 of whom are Marjorie’s from a previous relationship, though Steve raises them as his own.
